We recognize the importance of having clear and well-defined terms and conditions to outline the mutual rights and obligations between a company and its clients. These policies serve as a legal safeguard, promoting transparency in transactions, minimizing liabilities, and clearly setting expectations for services or products provided. By openly sharing policies on payments, cancellations, partnerships, and privacy, a business builds trust with clients and helps prevent misunderstandings or disputes, ultimately improving customer satisfaction and loyalty. Below are the comprehensive terms and conditions for Lakii Adventures:
Payments and Bookings
Deposit & Payment Schedule: A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The remaining balance is due upon your arrival, preferably paid in cash. Payments made via credit card or PayPal will incur a processing fee of 5–8%, which is the responsibility of the client.
Booking Confirmation: Reservations will be confirmed only after the deposit is received. A confirmation email will be sent upon successful processing of your payment.
Accepted Payment Methods: We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by Client:

Cancellations made within 72 hours of departure will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

Cancellations made between 72 hours and 7 days prior to departure will incur a 75% cancellation fee.

Cancellations made 7 to 21 days prior to departure will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

Cancellations made more than 21 days in advance are free of charge, but must be submitted through the official Lakii Adventures sales email at info@lakiiadventures.co.tz.
No-Shows: Failure to appear on time or at the meeting point will result in a 100% charge. Lakii Adventures reserves the right to resell tickets for clients who do not show up.
Cancellation by Lakii Adventures:
In the rare event that Lakii Adventures cancels your trip, you will receive a full refund or an alternative option will be offered.
Travel Insurance
Required Coverage: Clients are strongly advised to secure comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and lost or stolen luggage.
Insurance Options: Travelers may choose any provider or use the recommended World Nomads Travel Insurance, which is well-suited to cover a range of unexpected incidents.
Privacy and Security
Client Data Protection: At Lakii Adventures, we are committed to safeguarding your personal information. Data will only be used for booking-related purposes and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
Secure Transactions: All financial transactions are conducted through secure channels to protect your payment information.
Partnerships and Affiliations
Collaborating Partners: Lakii Adventures partners with various industry players—including hotels, airlines, and other tour operators—to ensure a seamless and enriched travel experience. Commission arrangements with these partners are based on individual agreements.
Liability Disclaimer: While we strive to maintain high standards, Lakii Adventures is not responsible for actions or oversights by its partners.
General Terms
Website Updates & Errors:
Lakii Adventures reserves the right to modify website content and correct errors without prior notice. We disclaim responsibility for any typographical or unintentional mistakes, and appreciate your understanding as we make updates.
Service Shortcomings:
Not every deviation from a client’s expectations constitutes a service shortfall. The following are not considered shortcomings:

Misconceptions about wildlife sightings, as these are subject to natural conditions and unpredictability
While we work diligently to provide accurate services, should any issues arise, we encourage immediate reporting so we can resolve them quickly. We reserve the right to cancel bookings and provide refunds as per our cancellation policy.
Complaints and Inquiries
If you have any questions before your trip, please contact a Lakii Adventures consultant at info@lakiiadventures.co.tz.
For complaints during the trip—especially regarding accommodations or third-party services—report the issue directly to the responsible party and request written confirmation before check-out.
Post-trip complaints must be submitted in writing within 30 days of your return to info@lakiiadventures.co.tz. Please include your booking reference and all relevant documentation.
Accommodation Policy
Should your selected accommodation be unavailable, we will arrange a similar alternative of equal quality and comfort.
