DAY 1
Day 1: Moshi/Arusha → Marangu Gate (1,860 m) → Mandara Hut (2,720 m)

Drive Time: 1.5–2 hours from Arusha | 45 min from Moshi
Trek Distance: 8 km (5 miles)
Hiking Time: 4–5 hours
Elevation Gain: 860 m
Vegetation Zone: Rainforest
Your adventure begins with a morning pickup from Arusha or Moshi and transfer to Marangu Gate for registration. The trek starts through lush rainforests, home to colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, and exotic birds.
Upon arrival at Mandara Hut (2,720 m), relax and enjoy the scenic surroundings. A short hike to Maundi Crater offers spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the Kenyan plains.

DAY 2
Day 2: Mandara Hut → Horombo Hut (3,720 m)
After breakfast, you will head to the legendary Serengeti National Park, famous for its vast plains aDistance: 12 km (7.5 miles)
Hiking Time: 6–7 hours
Elevation Gain: 1,000 m
Vegetation Zone: Moorland
Today, leave the rainforest behind and enter the moorland zone, where the landscape becomes more open. Enjoy stunning views of Mawenzi Peak (5,149 m) along the way.
By afternoon, arrive at Horombo Hut (3,720 m), where you can enjoy the breathtaking mountain scenery and acclimatize.

Drinks: Drinking water & Non alcoholic Drinksnd the Great Migration. The drive is scenic, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive, where you might spot lions, cheetahs, and herds of antelope. As the sun sets, settle into your accommodation inside the park and savor a delicious dinner under the African sky.

DAY 3
Day 3: Horombo Hut → Kibo Hut (4,703 m)

Distance: 10 km (6.2 miles)
Hiking Time: 6–7 hours
Elevation Gain: 983 m
Vegetation Zone: Alpine Desert
The trail continues through the Saddle, a barren, lunar-like landscape between Mawenzi and Kibo Peaks. The air becomes thinner, so maintaining a slow pace is essential.
Upon arrival at Kibo Hut (4,703 m), rest and prepare for the midnight summit attempt.

DAY 4
Day 4: Kibo Hut → Uhuru Peak (5,895 m) → Horombo Hut

Summit Distance: 6 km (3.7 miles)
Descent Distance: 16 km (10 miles)
Hiking Time: 12–15 hours total
Elevation Gain: 1,192 m (Summit)
Elevation Loss: 2,175 m (Descent)
Vegetation Zone: Arctic → Alpine Desert
Midnight Start: The most challenging day begins at midnight, ascending the steep switchbacks of Kibo toward Gilman’s Point (5,685 m). From here, a final push takes you to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m), the highest point in Africa.
Sunrise at the Summit: Witness the breathtaking sunrise from Uhuru Peak, surrounded by glaciers and clouds.
Descent to Horombo Hut: After celebrations and photos, descend back to Kibo Hut for a short rest before continuing to Horombo Hut for the night.

DAY 5
Day 5: Horombo Hut → Marangu Gate (1,860 m) → Arusha/Moshi

The final trek descends through the moorland and rainforest back to Marangu Gate.
At the gate, receive your summit certificate before transferring back to Moshi or Arusha.
